My career in building design began many years ago. My first 10 years in the industry were spent in the residential realm before moving into the commercial sector. The drive for the change was to observe and understand commercial design so that I could create homes that embrace the aesthetics and style of construction methods that are typically reserved for commercial buildings. The amalgamation of traditional and modern styles and the fervent desire to design homes that flow from room to room, and inside to out, is how and why Van Der Haus evolved.
